I normally wear a woman's size 7.5-8, so I ordered an 8.5 just to make sure I could wear these with heavy socks. Good thing I did! The length of the 8.5 is perfect, so it runs a little short in the footbed. Comfortable for wide insteps.

The sole surface is textured but slick, so it works great for turns and slides.
The removable insole is nice and squishy/bouncy, and it's designed so the perimeter isn't abrupt, so it shouldn't cause friction + blistering like some thick insoles can.
