I work 12, and sometimes 16 hour shifts in a Peds ED. I've worn all the brands, some very high end (0.00 +), and always had tired sore feet and an achy lower back at the end of the workday. To make matters worse, I bruised my Achilles and heel pretty badly trying to catch myself from falling while hiking a couple weeks ago. Because of this bruising I start to limp the last hour or two of my shift - and when I get home I really hobble. One evening, after the first time I wore them to work, was making my friend a snack. He said, "I thought you worked today." I said I did, but I was sure he knew that already. He said, "You're not limping." I literally had to sit down! With complete and utter astonishment, I realized my feet didn't hurt, as they usually did after work, and my heel/Achilles twinge was hardly noticeable! These shoes are a magnificent feat of engineering. I know not everyone will have the same experience, but it's as if they were made for me personally. Comfy and soothing from the beginning; roomy toe box; very forgiving, yet incredibly supportive foot bed, especially at the heel. Easy to kick off while charting, but (after a few minutes of initial "practicing") feel very secure when I have to be fast on my feet - even with support hose on (God, I'm old...). Adorably stylish (I absolutely love the patent strap), they look more expensive than they are. My staff loves me wearing them because they *squeak* when I walk, so the slackers hear me coming :) Four co-workers have ordered them, and I have already ordered a spare. I'd love them in Zebra!
